In Summer most nights after work at home, I slip into a pair of denim cut-offs and cook dinner in bare feet with the doors wide open and the warm air breezing through the house - I love it - I feel relaxed and summery and happy.

But during the day and when I'm out, my Summer uniform consists of skirts and tanks.  I love wearing skirts in Summer.  A beautiful skirt with flats and a tank is my ultimate everyday outfit.   Easy, comfy and feminine, it looks put together and takes me from the studio to meetings to drinks to dinners.

If I'm going out in the evening I love to pair a structured midi skirt with heels and a (freshly ironed because it does make a difference when you're going out!) tee or tank.

I think Garance Doré sums up the power of a tee and skirt really well.  Referencing a pencil skirt with a white muscle tee and nude pumps, she says "it's flattering, it says you're a real woman who owns her shit, and it's perfect at night or for an impromptu meeting".  (Excerpt from Love x Style x Life).

I totally agree.   Tees, tanks and a great skirt are a match made in warm weather heaven.  Grab your tee, invest in a great skirt and go forth and own your shit x

A lovely day and a cracking 80's soundtrack made me fall in love with menopause and the idea that through things we love (like great 80's music) we can channel the spirit of our free, unadulterated, world-is-our-oyster childhood selves.

so it turns out protein is not just for body builders - it's critically important for us too, especially during and after perimenopause.

Reference the table's (food + actions) for a super quick guide.  If you want more, there's additional information included below the tables.  This info is mostly about the things I found most interesting and thought you may like a little bit more of an explanation for.
