i love fashion photography of the late 60's and '70's, particularly black and white images.

to me, these shots have perfect composition.  the way the photographers use and create shapes is striking, inspiring and just beautiful to look at.

the energy of the moment pours out of these images and transports me to another time and place.  a time which feels creative and pure - not in the sweet, naive sense, but in the pure talent, vision and passion they represent.

perfectly imperfect images, produced without the editing technology available today.

enjoy x

these images share summery, vintage tones which take me back to my childhood.  colours are equally muted and vibrant - reminding me of the lollies we ate, the adults we wanted to be, and the big fake plastic jewels we used for dress-ups.  i hope this sparks a lovely trip down memory lane for you too x
