A lovely day and a cracking 80's soundtrack made me fall in love with menopause and the idea that through things we love (like great 80's music) we can channel the spirit of our free, unadulterated, world-is-our-oyster childhood selves.

it's taken me a week to publish this post.  reading it now, i definitely wasn't myself when I was writing it, but, once again, it's relevant to the cause, and it would appear that menopause can bring on feelings of depression, even for the most pollyanna of us.
